Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Kailua, Hawaii. You will serve healthcare facilities, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required per AU policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts, and report suspicious behavior to site leadership.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pre-Employment Requirements

• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
• Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
