Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital is seeking a security officer to help protect patients, staff and property while upholding the hospital's values and ethics. The role requires a high standard of conduct and alignment with the mission of caring for the community.

The position may include driving duties if required, with proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. Previous security or related experience is preferred to ensure a safe hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, corrections officer, or military experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire where required.

The officer will carry out his/her duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, act in the best interest of the hospital, and fully support the mission, vision and core values of Providence St. Peter Hospital.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Facility Managed)
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
