Job summary

Providence Centralia Hospital is seeking a security officer to help protect patients, staff, visitors, and property. You will uphold the hospital's mission and operate with the highest ethical standards while responding to incidents and maintaining a safe environment.

Required: BLS certification within 30 days of hire; driving may be required; a valid driver license and insurance may be requested. Preferred: customer service or security experience.

A security officer's main duty is to help protect hospital people, property, information and reputation. The officer will carry out his/her duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, act in the best interest of the hospital, and fully support the mission, vision and core values of Providence Centralia Hospital.

Required Qualifications

• Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Facility Managed)
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Security, law enforcement or corrections officer experience.
