Per-diem Officers are not guaranteed work; you can expect hours to be sporadic. Typically, you may be asked to work an entire week or longer if a full/part-time Security Officer is off for one reason or another. At the same time, you may go a week or more without work. It depends on what the needs of the department are at that particular time.
This position may be asked to cover at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital or ECH - Ticonderoga Campus locations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibilities of the Security Officer are to conduct patrols within and outside the facility, respond immediately to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance, and document services provided for each shift. Other responsibilities include:
