Job Title: Security Officer Construction Site

Location: Brooklyn, New York – Join a Legacy of Excellence!

Work Type: Part-Time Employment Opportunity Available

Pay Rate: Competitive pay starting at $18.00 - $19.00/hr with Benefits

Experience: 2 years security experience

Shifts Available:

• Full-Time, Split Shift: Friday 7am - 3pm and Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 3pm - 11pm

Expected duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Manage access control
• Provide JSB standard customer service while assisting clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests
• Report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, and activities
• Respond promptly to emergencies, provide support, and contact emergency services when necessary
• Patrol the site
• Write incident reports and log entries
• Protect the client's and company's assets from theft, assault, fire, or other safety issues
• Work independently and with team members

Requirements:

• 2 years security experience
• OSHA-30 or OSHA-10 Construction certification
• F-01 Fire Guard Certification
• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Flexible work schedule and ability to work weekends
• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Proficiency with smartphones and tablets
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Fully vaccinated
• Minimum age of 18 or as required by state law
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug test and background check
• If prior military, provide DD214 upon job offer
