Job summary

Allied Universal in Orlando, FL is hiring a Security Officer Patrol X Ray Screening to safeguard client sites and support a welcoming, professional environment. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication while following site procedures.

This full-time role requires at least 6 months in security, strong customer service, and comfort with technology; training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver credentials as required, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and/or irregular activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic around the property while communicating professionally with site personnel and following post orders.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $15.71 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
