Allied Universal in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Patrol Driver/Badge Screening. You will drive and patrol, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service to clients and visitors in a logistics and distribution setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, with preference for badge access experience, X-ray screening, and CPR certification. Hours include weekend shifts, with a pay rate of $15.24 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• A guard card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control processes.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeters to identify hazards and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify access, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and situations calmly and notify relevant contacts.
• Prepare reports and logs for patrols, incidents, and access activity.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control processes, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
