Job summary

Allied Universal, Port Saint Lucie, FL, is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Screening to monitor access, screen personnel and vehicles, and maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service while enforcing site procedures and reporting concerns.

The role operates in a fast-paced logistics setting with a strong emphasis on safety and customer care. Minimum requirements include 6 months of security experience, high school diploma, and the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors and drivers while enforcing site procedures.

• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and report irregularities to leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents following emergency procedures.

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and property, and reporting security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.27 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures and applicable site requirements.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and shipping-related access authorization, and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility access points and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
