Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Surveillance in West Warwick, RI. You will provide customer service, conduct regular patrols, monitor access controls, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence at a telecommunications and media location.

The role requires 18+ years (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma, and completion of background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and vendors at a telecommunications/media location following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, alarms and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Perform regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries and vendors per site procedures.
• Document observations and patrol activities clearly and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
