Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide customer service and security at a logistics and distribution site, performing patrols, access control, and reporting to maintain a safe environment.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.22 per hour and a rotating daytime schedule. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with background checks and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Criminal history considered with laws.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, document visitor/vehicle/contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; escalate as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
