Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for Indianapolis, IN. You will patrol designated areas, deter incidents, and assist clients with a visible, reassuring presence.

Job Description

Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Response in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
