Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Field Response Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and deliver customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing site.

Valid driver’s license required; CPR/First Aid preferred. This is a full-time role with day-time shifts and a starting pay of $19.10 per hour. Background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor entry procedures, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
• Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and incoming personnel.

What You'll Do:
