Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Independence, KY. You will protect clients across industries by patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will follow site procedures, monitor access, report observations, and respond calmly to incidents, working with a collaborative team that values safety and service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailers, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and vendor entry requirements, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
