Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will safeguard clients across a manufacturing and industrial site, provide strong customer service, and maintain a visible security presence with routine patrols and monitored access points.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of security experience. CPR/First Aid is preferred; background and drug screenings apply.

• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, office spaces, parking areas, shipping/receiving zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for visitors and contractors; document visitor, vehicle, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other emergencies per procedures.
• Report security concerns and equipment issues to site leadership and management.

• Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, office spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report observed security-related concerns, equipment issues, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
