Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Crosby, TX. You will safeguard clients across industries, monitor access points, and patrol facilities with a focus on safety and customer service.

Role requires compliance with site procedures, documentation of incidents, and coordination with emergency responders as needed. Excellent communication and 18+ (21+ for armed) years old required.

Qualifications

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Crosby, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, operational areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
