Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Site Deterrence in Seneca, SC. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine site patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while adhering to site policies and safety procedures.

The position requires a valid driver's license, at least three years of security experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in security-related, law enforcement, military police or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Patrol Site Deterrence in Seneca, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activities while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

• Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
