Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer – Vehicle Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols of a manufacturing/industrial site, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, and a background check with a drug screen. CPR/First Aid is preferred, with a schedule that fits your life and a focus on safety and service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain visitor, vehicle and incident documentation and report issues.
• Respond to incidents calmly following emergency procedures and notify personnel.
• Observe conditions affecting operations and report concerns.

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, lighting concerns, and unauthorized access attempts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
