Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will serve clients, patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to authorized areas and verify visitor/contractor credentials.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations to supervision.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and designated access points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to authorized areas, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
