Job summary

Allied Universal in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Risk Review to protect clients across industries, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and uphold site procedures.

You will respond to incidents, document activity, and provide customer service with a visible, friendly presence. The schedule is Fri and Sat nights; pay is $20 per hour, with a flexible shift platform and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution center.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to leadership and responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the site to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
• Document incidents and patrol activity in required reports with professional communication.

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution center.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site leadership and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution center, loading docks, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and unusual conditions accurately in required reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
