Job summary

Allied Universal in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Watch to protect clients in a distribution center and retail environments. You will perform unarmed patrols, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible, safe presence.

This full-time role requires 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, background check, and a valid driver’s license where required.

As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution center, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and vendors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including the building interior, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading areas.
• Monitor access activity and assist with verifying authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional retail distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
