Job summary

Allied Universal in Mira Loma, CA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Watch to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and distribution centers. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while responding to security concerns with integrity.

This full-time role offers consistent shifts, pay $20.00 per hour, with evening daytime schedule, and opportunities for growth through training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including interior, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading areas.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors per site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to deter unauthorized access and support a professional environment.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including the building interior, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and loading areas.
• Monitor access activity and assist with verifying authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a professional retail distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
