Job summary

Allied Universal, Mira Loma, CA, is hiring for a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Identification. You will provide customer service, deter incidents through visible patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and complete detailed reports. The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and background/drug screening as part of employment.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. Schedule includes Mon-Sun shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including the building exterior, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and site activities.
