Job summary

Allied Universal in Brockton, MA is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Risk Detection to protect patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare location. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, a background check, and a drug screen. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, providing directions and assistance to patients and visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
