Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Hodge, LA. You will patrol the site, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver strong customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors.

The role supports alignment with site policies and emergency procedures while contributing to a safe, collaborative environment. This position offers a flexible schedule via the Claim a Shift platform and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with the ability to pass background

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and promptly communicate maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
