Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening in Hodge, LA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The position pays $13.39 per hour, with a Sunday night to Monday shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. A path to full-time roles exists through paid training and internal advancement opportunities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the site by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing passes, and maintaining entry/exit records.
• Respond to alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and leadership regarding access concerns and incidents.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Screening in Hodge, LA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, gates, employee parking areas, production-related spaces, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Communicate with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns, incidents, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
