Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Cofield, NC for a part-time shift. You will patrol industrial manufacturing locations, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors using phones/tablet tools.

As a PT role, you can build a schedule with our Claim a Shift platform; pay rate is $13.00 per hour; shifts Tue-Thu 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–3:00 PM as listed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production-adjacent areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment damage, suspicious activity, and policy violations while maintaining awareness of changing industrial conditions.
