Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Protection to safeguard clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will perform regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous service.

This full-time, unarmed role offers $17.63 per hour, day and night schedules, and opportunities for training and career growth. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activities per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the industrial facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
