Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer at our Louisville, KY location. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to alarms while delivering professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

The role requires 2+ years in security, a high school diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time position with a set daytime schedule and competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and report access-control issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and handoffs per site requirements.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.72 / Hour

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials as required, and report access-control or security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
