Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, and changing conditions at the location.

Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, and/or changing conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
