Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Mira Loma, CA retail distribution center. You will provide customer service, monitor entrances, and patrol assigned areas while maintaining a visible security presence and reporting observations to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

• Maintain daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs and communicate observations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other designated locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
