Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute minimum.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
• Backgrounds with criminal histories will be considered per law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and follow access procedures.
• Document observations and incidents in reports and inform site leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, verifying credentials and following established access procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and irregular conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess supervisory experience.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
