Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring full-time security personnel in Kihei, Hawaii. The role involves providing customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial property, performing security procedures, and responding to incidents.

You will conduct regular patrols, monitor access, and document activities and incidents. A high school diploma is required, with licensing and background checks as per local laws.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building areas, parking, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access: verify visitor/contractor authorization and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and timely.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
