Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

• Background check conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security responsibilities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials or authorization, and report unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and in line with emergency procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Patrol Logistics Facilityin Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials or authorization as required, and report unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
