As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations while embodying Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the logistics and distribution location, including building exteriors, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and cargo-handling areas for unusual activity, damaged barriers, or other security-related concerns, and document observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed, and complete required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
