Allied Universal in Byhalia, MS is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Incident Support to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Shifts are night-time, full-time, at a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. The role requires 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and a high school diploma, with a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by employment.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and visitor/driver authorization, and maintain entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures.
• Support orderly truck, trailer, and delivery activity by observing traffic and reporting hazards.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Support in Byhalia, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while working with a collaborative team. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials and visitor or driver authorization as directed, and maintain required entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Support orderly truck, trailer, and delivery activity by observing designated traffic and access areas and reporting hazards, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
