The position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. Workdays include Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Candidates must meet minimum requirements and pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required and drug screening as applicable by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state regulations.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Complete activity reports and incident documentation per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Documentation in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a professional property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entry and exit points as assigned.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
