Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol in Reno, NV to provide customer service, perform regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents in a retail entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required in line with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.

You will support access control, assist guests and team members, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM
• Sat 06:15 PM - 02:15 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail entertainment location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
