Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
