Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Observation Support in Nashville, TN. You will serve government housing locations, perform unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Hourly pay is $17.77 with daytime and weekend shifts. This role offers a flexible schedule and integration with our Claim a Shift platform, supporting a dependable team focused on integrity and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports and patrol documentation.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a government housing location by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responding professionally to concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with residents and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at government housing locations.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to designated personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
