Allied Universal in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol with at least one year of security experience. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service at a retail/mall location.

You will communicate professionally with guests and staff, complete required reports, and support a welcoming environment. A background check and drug screen are standard; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol One Year Experience in Elizabeth, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 02:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 02:00 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the entertainment venue, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
