Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will patrol the financial institution, deter incidents, and uphold access control while delivering excellent service to clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county or city license for security work is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Unarmed roles require at least 18 years of age; armed roles require 21+.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least five years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
