Job summary

Allied Universal in Mount Laurel, NJ seeks a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol to serve a financial institution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and support access control while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Five years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

• Mon 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:
