Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Officer Northeast Manufacturing Patrol Driver to safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom environments. This unarmed patrol role requires standing watch, conducting patrols, monitoring entrances, and delivering professional customer service with clear communication.

The full-time daytime schedule runs from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays, with driving responsibilities requiring a valid license.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and notification protocols.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
