Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Austin, TX. You will drive to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while reporting security concerns.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to use a computer/tablet, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Hours are set and include daytime shifts; pay is $21.37 per hour, with a benefits-focused team culture.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns using reporting tools.

You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while reporting security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking lots, perimeter locations, shipping and receiving zones, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate resources as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
