Allied Universal in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver. The role involves safeguarding clients across commercial real estate locations, performing regular patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required and the position is full-time with an $18/hour pay rate. You’ll provide excellent service to tenants and visitors while following site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel while carrying out security procedures and emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and abnormal conditions per site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate information to supervision, property representatives, and emergency responders as appropriate.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed: 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Thur: 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision, property representatives, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
