Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license in accordance with policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 19 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document entries, incidents, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, policy concerns, and security-related issues to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a manufacturing and industrial location, including driving patrols, to help deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, observe and report unusual activity, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
