Job summary

Allied Universal in Calabasas, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control to safeguard residents and guests. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, greet visitors, and maintain orderly conditions within a residential community.

You will provide exceptional customer service, conduct patrols, document incidents, and communicate with site management. This role requires security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, document visitor and vendor information, and direct guests according to community procedures.
• Respond to access concerns, resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, parking areas, entry gates, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Professional supporting a residential community, you will manage access control, greet residents and visitors, verify credentials, and help maintain an orderly environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
