• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site policies; maintain access and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations; escalate to site leadership and emergency services as appropriate.
• Observe loading, receiving, and shipping areas for adherence to site access requirements; report hazards.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Full Time in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor or contractor entry procedures, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and emergency services as appropriate.
• Observe loading, receiving, and shipping areas for adherence to site access requirements, report suspicious activity or hazards, and complete required daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
