• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization and direct delivery personnel and guests.
• Document observations and patrol activity and communicate with leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver 3rd Shift in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization and directing delivery personnel, contractors, and guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
