Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with all personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver - Mornings in Rockford, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. This primarily driving role involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, documenting observations, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
